This research aims to determine the quality of test items for the national standard madrasah final exam in Arabic Language for 12th grade students at MAN 1 Jambi City in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The research subjects were 12th grade students at MAN 1 Jambi City in the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection was conducted using documentation methods. The data used were student answer sheets and exam questions from the national standard madrasah final exam. The analysis was conducted from the perspectives of validity, discriminatory power, difficulty level, and reliability with the assistance of Microsoft Excel. The results of this research show that 10 items are valid and 10 items are invalid. 5 items have good discriminating power, 5 items have fairly good discriminating power, and 10 items have poor discriminating power. 18 items have a moderate difficulty level, 1 item has an easy difficulty level, and 1 item has a difficult difficulty level. It was found that the overall reliability calculation of items 1 through 20 has a high reliability level. Therefore, after being analyzed from the aspects of validity, discriminating power, difficulty level, and reliability, the overall items of the Arabic language UAMBN (National Assessment Exam) at MAN 1 Jambi City are good (good test items).

Comparative Analysis of the Thoughts of Ibn Jinni and Kamal Al-Basyar (Fonetik Bahasa Arab)

Sound variation in the Arabic language is a complex and intriguing phenomenon that has captured the interest of linguists. Language, as a system of arbitrary sound symbols, is used by humans to communicate with one another. This research aims to explore the differences in sounds in the Arabic language based on the perspectives of two prominent figures in Arabic linguistics, Ibn Jinni and Kamal al-Basyar. The research method used is qualitative, employing library research as the primary source for data collection. The data analysis technique includes an in-depth analysis of the phonetic differences between Ibn Jinni and Kamal Al Basyar's perspectives. Research results: Ibn Jinni and Kamal Bisyr have similarities and differences in their concepts of Arabic phonetics. They agree on the articulatory physiological aspect in the definition of language sounds. Ibn Jinni also considers the acoustic or physical aspect by comparing the occurrence of sounds in the mouth or throat to the sounds of musical instruments.

Analysis of the Use of Onomatopoeia in Miki wa Batut Comics

This study analyzes the use of onomatopoeia in the Arabic comic "Miki wa Batut" (ميكى و بطوط: مواطن بطى نموذجى). The research aims to identify the types and functions of onomatopoeic expressions within the comic, based on the classification by Z.A. Petkova (2015). Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, the study involved several steps: reading the comic to understand the meaning of onomatopoeic words, identifying the onomatopoeic expressions used by the characters, and categorizing them into four main types—animal sounds, natural sounds, inanimate object sounds, and human sounds. The data were analyzed both formally, using tables for clarity, and informally through narrative explanation. The findings revealed a total of 19 onomatopoeic instances, with human sounds being the most prevalent. The results demonstrate that onomatopoeia is a critical element in comics, enriching the narrative and enhancing the reader's experience by vividly depicting sounds and actions. This research underscores the importance of onomatopoeia in visual storytelling, especially in the context of Arabic comics

هذا البحث هو بحث كمي، وتصميم البحث المستخدم هو تصميم تجربي حقيقي حيث يكون موضوع البحث طلاب في الفصل عشرة في المدرسة العالية الحكومية 1 مدينة جامبي. ونوع البحث الذي سيتم استخدامه هو تصميم ضابط بعدي فقط، حيث يتم تحديد الفصلين، تسمى كل منهما الفصل التجربية (التي عولجت) والفصل الضابطة (غير المعالجة). تم أخذ العينات بشكل عشوائي من مجموعة محددة سلفا. تم أخذ العينات باستخدام تقنية أخذ العينات العشوائية، وهي تقنية أخذ العينات العشوائية. تستخدم تقنيات جمع البيانات الملاحظة والاختبارات والتوثيق. وفي الوقت نفسه، تستخدم تقنيات تحليل البيانات التحليل الوصفي والتحليل الاستدلالي.

بناء على نتائج البحث وتحليل البيانات التي حصل عليها الباحثة، في اختبار مهارة الكلام في الفصل ج ( الفصل الضابط ) كانت النتائج في الفئة المنخفضة بنسبة 30% من 20 الطلاب. ثم أجرى الباحثة اختباراً في الفصل د (الفصل التجريبية ) وكانت ان متوسط الدرجات التي تم الحصول عليها كانت في الفئة العالية 50%. من 20 طالبا. بعد أن قامت الباحثة بإجراء تحليل باستخدام الإحصائيات الاستدلالية، كانت البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها هي قيمة t_count بقيمة 6,6 وقيمة t_table التي تم الحصول عليها كانت 14,125. ومن هذه النتائج يمكن تحديد أن مقبول مرفوض. و من ثم يمكن استنتاج أن هناك فرقا معنويا بين الفصل الضابط و الفصل التجربي، بمعنى اخر، هناك تأثير استخدام وسيلة اللوحة الأسئلة على مهارة الكلام الطلاب في المدرسة العالية الحكومية 1 مدينة جامبي.

Abstract

The researcher chose this topic based on the presence spread of the Corona virus Covid-19, which causes great changes in people's lives, including changes in the field of education. The aim of this research is to reveal the results of the tests that use the Kahoot remote method for the students and do not use it, and to reveal the effectiveness of the Kahoot method in teaching he remote listening skill. This research followed a semi-experimental study based on the quantitative approach, and its design consisted of the experimental group and the control group. The researcher used data collection methods, which are direct observation, personal interview, tests and questionnaires.

After the researcher analyzed the data, reached the mean of the two tests, the pre-test and the post-test. Based on the average results of the experimental group at a value of 28.75 and the average results of the control group at a value of 16.75, it indicates that the average results of the experimental group are greater than the average results of the control group. And I came to the analysis of the data using the "t" test rule. The result of the arithmetic t0 (t0) is 2.79, so the table is at the level of significance of 5% on the value of 1,686 and the level of significance of 1% on the value of 2,429, and this indicated that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. This means that the use of the Kahoot method in teaching the remote listening skill of the pupils of this school is statistically significant.
