This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The research subjects were 12th grade students at MAN 1 Jambi City in the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection was conducted using documentation methods. The data used were student answer sheets and exam questions from the national standard madrasah final exam. The analysis was conducted from the perspectives of validity, discriminatory power, difficulty level, and reliability with the assistance of Microsoft Excel. The results of this research show that 10 items are valid and 10 items are invalid. 5 items have good discriminating power, 5 items have fairly good discriminating power, and 10 items have poor discriminating power. 18 items have a moderate difficulty level, 1 item has an easy difficulty level, and 1 item has a difficult difficulty level. It was found that the overall reliability calculation of items 1 through 20 has a high reliability level. Language, as a system of arbitrary sound symbols, is used by humans to communicate with one another. This research aims to explore the differences in sounds in the Arabic language based on the perspectives of two prominent figures in Arabic linguistics, Ibn Jinni and Kamal al-Basyar. The research method used is qualitative, employing library research as the primary source for data collection. The data analysis technique includes an in-depth analysis of the phonetic differences between Ibn Jinni and Kamal Al Basyar's perspectives. Research results: Ibn Jinni and Kamal Bisyr have similarities and differences in their concepts of Arabic phonetics. They agree on the articulatory physiological aspect in the definition of language sounds. The research aims to identify the types and functions of onomatopoeic expressions within the comic, based on the classification by Z.A. Petkova (2015). Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, the study involved several steps: reading the comic to understand the meaning of onomatopoeic words, identifying the onomatopoeic expressions used by the characters, and categorizing them into four main types—animal sounds, natural sounds, inanimate object sounds, and human sounds. The data were analyzed both formally, using tables for clarity, and informally through narrative explanation. The findings revealed a total of 19 onomatopoeic instances, with human sounds being the most prevalent. The results demonstrate that onomatopoeia is a critical element in comics, enriching the narrative and enhancing the reader's experience by vividly depicting sounds and actions. The aim of this research is to reveal the results of the tests that use the Kahoot remote method for the students and do not use it, and to reveal the effectiveness of the Kahoot method in teaching he remote listening skill. This research followed a semi-experimental study based on the quantitative approach, and its design consisted of the experimental group and the control group. The researcher used data collection methods, which are direct observation, personal interview, tests and questionnaires.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After the researcher analyzed the data, reached the mean of the two tests, the pre-test and the post-test. Based on the average results of the experimental group at a value of 28.75 and the average results of the control group at a value of 16.75, it indicates that the average results of the experimental group are greater than the average results of the control group. And I came to the analysis of the data using the "t" test rule. The result of the arithmetic t0 (t0) is 2.79, so the table is at the level of significance of 5% on the value of 1,686 and the level of significance of 1% on the value of 2,429, and this indicated that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted.
